Fasting

Fasting is the abstention of eating and sometimes drinking for a period of time which may offer various health benefits. It may involve abstaining for a full day or longer, only eating during certain hours of the day, skipping meals, or consuming fewer calories.

Benefits of fasting may include better blood-sugar control, reduced inflammation, improved mood and brain function, and weight loss.
