Posture Exercises

Posture exercises are designed to improve body posture in order to promote efficient use of muscles and alignment of bones.

There are many exercises that can help improve your posture. Here are some of the best exercises you can do:

1. Shoulder Blade Squeeze – Sit up straight and pull your shoulder blades back and together. Hold for 5 seconds and then release.
2. Wall Angels – Stand with your back against a wall and raise your arms to the sides with your elbows bent at 90 degrees. Slowly raise and lower your arms, keeping them in contact with the wall.
3. Chest Stretch – Stand in a doorway with your arms out to the sides and your elbows bent at 90 degrees. Place your forearms on the doorframe and lean forward until you feel a stretch in your chest.
4. Cat-Cow Stretch – Get on your hands and knees and alternate between arching your back up towards the ceiling and then rounding your spine towards the floor.
5. Plank – Get into a push-up position and hold it for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Make sure to keep your body in a straight line from your head to your heels.
6. Bridge – Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the ground. Lift your hips up towards the ceiling, squeezing your glutes and engaging your core.
7. Neck stretches – Tilt your head to the left and hold for 10 seconds, then repeat on the right. Then, tilt your head forward and hold for 10 seconds, and then tilt your head back and hold for 10 seconds.

Remember to incorporate these exercises into your routine consistently, and over time, you should see an improvement in your posture.
