LINDON, UT, May 28, 2015 – ZYTO Technologies Inc., a Utah-based company specializing in biocommunication applications, is actively working with the Food and Drug Administration to clarify and modify promotional language associated with the labeling of the ZYTO Hand Cradle, a Class II medical device.

In 2011, the ZYTO Hand Cradle was cleared by the Food and Drug Administration as a Class II medical device used to gather Galvanic Skin Response data. In November 2014, ZYTO completed its first audit by the FDA. The FDA audit covered all aspects of our manufacturing processes as well as all messaging relating to the ZYTO medical device. On May 8, 2015, the FDA issued a letter to ZYTO outlining a few messaging issues that they would like ZYTO to modify.

“We welcome this input from the FDA,” said Kami Howard, President and COO of ZYTO. “We have a strong desire to represent ZYTO products to our customers accurately and clearly. We have already addressed each specific issue raised by the FDA. ZYTO is committed to being fully compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.”

Considering that this was our first FDA audit, ZYTO is pleased that the requested corrective actions can be addressed quickly and fully and will not detract from business operations.

Salt Lake Tribune top workplace 2015LINDON, UTAH, USA — November 16, 2015 — Not once, but twice! ZYTO is thrilled to announce that for the second year in a row the Salt Lake Tribune has awarded the company a 2015 Top Workplaces honor! The best part is that the award wasn’t decided by an outside committee, but was based exclusively on employee feedback and responses. “The Top Workplace award is not a popularity contest. And oftentimes, people assume it’s all about fancy perks and benefits,” says Doug Claffey, CEO of Workplace Dynamics, LLC – a leading research firm that administers the employee survey across the state. “But to be a Top Workplace, organizations must meet our strict standards for organization health. And who better to ask about work life than the people who live the culture every day – the employees.” ZYTO is proud to be recognized for its commitment to hiring the best employees, and then striving to foster an environment that empowers employees to achieve their goals by creating an inclusive, rewarding workplace and strong company culture. “It means so much to have won this award based on our employees’ feelings about ZYTO and the culture we have created,” said Kami J. Howard, President and COO of ZYTO. “We truly owe our continued success to the talented and innovative employees here at ZYTO,” stated CEO and founder Dr. Vaughn R. Cook. “Winning this award only increases our commitment to make ZYTO the best it can be for employees and customers alike.” You can read more about ZYTO and the Top Workplace Award in the Salt Lake Tribune article announcing the winners.
Kami Howard at Stevie AwardsLINDON, UT, November 24, 2015 – ZYTO President and COO Kami Howard was awarded a 2015 Stevie Award for Female Executive of the Year on the same weekend that the Utah based business was announced as one of Utah’s Top Workplaces in a survey conducted by Workplace Dynamics and reported by The Salt Lake Tribune. The Stevie Awards for Women in Business are the world’s top honors for female entrepreneurs, executives, employees, and the organizations they run. The 2015 awards received entries from 24 nations and territories and were selected by more than 200 executives worldwide who participated in the judging process. “ZYTO is very fortunate to have such a high caliber leader here in Utah County”, said Executive VP George Wright – referring to a recently published study that linked negative bias towards female employees as the root cause of Utah’s wide gender wage gap. “Kami is deserving of this international recognition and is an example that women are a powerful force in Utah Business.” “I think I speak for all of our employees when we say that we couldn’t be prouder of Kami for receiving this well-deserved award.” said Dr. Vaughn R Cook, CEO of ZYTO. Nicknamed the Stevies (the Greek word for “crowned”), the awards were presented to winners on Friday November 13th during a dinner event attended by more than 400 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City. About The Stevie Awards Stevie Awards are conferred in six programs: the Asia-Pacific Stevie Awards, the German Stevie Awards, The American Business Awards, The International Business Awards, the Stevie Awards for Women in Business, and the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service. LINDON, UT, January 16, 2017 –  ZYTO Corporation announced today that Dr. Vaughn R Cook has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer, replaced by Ryan Shepherd, effective immediately. LINDON, UT, February 14, 2017 – ZYTO is continuing its support of American Heart Month this week by posting a video encouraging viewers to recognize holistic ways to support heart health. The cause is particularly close to CEO and founder Dr. Vaughn R Cook’s heart, as he has lost family members to heart disease.

“I’ve experienced first-hand what a lack of heart health looks like and feels like,” said Dr. Cook. “I believe that we can make a significant difference in our communities by not only engaging in heart-healthy activities, but also spreading the word about the healthy choices we’re making and encouraging friends and family to do likewise.”

Employees, customers, and social media fans have already taken part earlier this month by wearing red on February 3rd in support of Go Red Wear Red day, a yearly event that raises awareness for heart disease—the number one killer of women. They are also being encouraged to post about heart-healthy decisions they are making this month using the hashtags #IHeartZYTO and #AmericanHeartMonth.

Anyone who appreciates the value of heart health is encouraged to view the video and use the hashtags to share their heart-healthy choices with their own social networks.

Additionally, ZYTO continues to make heart health a focus for employees this month with distribution of heart-awareness literature and a heart-healthy breakfast when the company moves into its new building at the end of the month.

Supporting and encouraging individuals to understand and make wellness decisions lies at the core of ZYTO’s mission.

ZYTO CEO at China Functional Medicine Conference 2018Lindon, UT, January 24, 2018 Dr. Vaughn R Cook, CEO of ZYTO (OTC PINK:ZYTO), provided the keynote address to a room packed with Eastern medicine practitioners at the Functional Medicine Conference in Shanghai, China, this month. In the presentation, Dr. Cook instructed attendees how to incorporate ZYTO into a functional medical practice with technologies like biocommunication to obtain specific information from the body and then, using a vectored approach, filter the information to provide insights about individual patients.

This is the third time during the past 12 months that Dr. Cook has been invited to present technologies that were developed in the United States to functional medicine practitioners in China. Because ZYTO technology incorporates concepts of both Eastern and Western approaches to wellness into a software platform, many people in Asia see ZYTO technology as an enhancement of traditional concepts that helps to make better decisions, faster.

“I am very honored to share these insights with our friends in China,” said Dr. Cook. “There is a rich history with regards to medical practices in China. With new technology, we can help to preserve these concepts and enable their use for a whole new generation of people interested in energetic and functional medicine.”
