Nasal Specific/Bilateral Nasal Specific (BNS)

Nasal specific or bilateral nasal specific (BNS) is a non-invasive chiropractic technique used to address various health issues related to the nasal passages, sinuses, and related structures.

The technique involves the use of an inflatable balloon device, called a nasal specific balloon, which is inserted into the nostrils and gently inflated. The inflation of the balloon creates positive pressure in the nasal cavity, which can help to realign the bones of the nasal passage and improve the flow of air, mucus, and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) in and around the sinuses and cranial structures.

The BNST is often used to help alleviate symptoms of conditions such as sinusitis, migraines, headaches, and facial pain.
