ZYTO Link is the next generation of ZYTO biocommunication. Here are a few ways in which it differs from other ZYTO products:

  • Link can be used on any Apple or Android device, unlike Compass and Pro 5.0 products which are Windows-only software programs.
  • The new facial scanning technology in Link eliminates the need for the Hand Cradle device, which is used in the ZYTO Compass and Pro 5.0 products.
  • Link utilizes a face-scanning technology known as transdermal optical imaging instead of measuring the body’s galvanic skin response. Both methods measure body responses accurately, but Link scanning is faster and more convenient.
  • Link allows a wellness professional to issue a link to their client to run a scan on their own without assistance. Remote scanning with ZYTO Pro 5.0 requires a practitioner’s assistance to run as well as a Remote Hand Cradle.

About the Link scan

To learn how the technology works, visit the How a Link Scan Works page.

The Link scan analyzes facial blood-flow patterns to determine the person’s heart rate, heart-rate variability, breathing rate, skin age, and mental stress level.

After incorporating these measurements from the face scan, the Link scan measures the body’s responses to various biomarkers. Biomarkers are digital representations of actual components of the body, such as organs, glands, and systems, as well as lifestyle factors and emotions.

Lastly, Link measures the body’s responses to various wellness products and services to determine which ones the body prefers the most.

After starting a scan from the profile screen, the measurement screen will pop up. Follow these instructions to take the measurement:

  • Choose a well-lit area and sit comfortably.
  • Ensure that the phone camera and face are on the same level. Your face should be centered within the circle throughout the measurement.
  • Sit still for 30 seconds while the measurement is completed.

The stars indicate the quality of your measurement based on the lighting conditions that illuminate the face.

  • 4 – 5 stars: Good lighting conditions. The light is spread evenly across the face with no shadows.
  • 2 – 3 stars: Adequate lighting conditions. The light is sufficient enough and spread evenly enough across the face.
  • 1 star: Poor lighting conditions. The light is too low or uneven or there was too much movement after the measurement started.

Note that the scan will not run if lighting conditions are inadequate or there is too much movement.

Measurements are cancelled when the video capture is unstable. This can be caused by poor lighting or excessive movement. To prevent this from happening, hold the phone steady and/or adjust the lighting (make sure there are no shadows, flickering, etc.). You may also need to adjust the phone angle to make sure that light is hitting the face evenly.

The scan works best in good lighting conditions, where light is distributed evenly across the face without any shadows. You may want to use a selfie light and/or phone stand to achieve this.

  • Hold the phone steady directly in front of your face or use a phone stand when measuring.
  • Avoid angling the phone up or down.
  • Keep your face within the circle.

In most cases, people are able to run a scan while wearing glasses. However, you may want to try removing your glasses if you are following all the scanning guidelines but are still unable to get the scan to run.

Yes, young children and teenagers can be scanned with ZYTO Link. Individuals under 18 are able to run scans through a parent’s account only. Scan invites must be issued from the wellness professional.

No, ZYTO Link provides general wellness information and is not intended to be used in the diagnosis, treatment, cure, or mitigation of any disease or medical condition.

We recommend waiting 3-4 weeks between each scan. This allows enough time for the product recommendations to impact the physical chemistry of the body. Essential oils may be scanned more frequently than this, as they are more energetic in nature and can change the body’s chemistry more quickly. However, the general recommendation is 3-4 weeks, especially if you are scanning supplements.

Yes! You can send out your unique scanning link to anyone you would like to scan. This saves time because your new clients can simply fill out their profile information themselves.

To get your remote scan link:

  1. Visit zyto.com and select Sign In at the top right of the page.
  2. From the Account tab, select Link Business under the Subscriptions section.
  3. Select Copy Remote Scanning Link.
  4. Distribute this link to anyone you want to scan.

The science behind ZYTO Link

ZYTO Link uses advanced facial blood-flow analysis to determine heart rate, heart rate variability, breathing rate, skin age, and mental stress level. This technology is known as transdermal optical imaging, or TOI. Studies show that TOI rivals traditional methods of measuring cardiovascular health, such as electrocardiogram testing.

The unique, real-time measurements from the Link face scan are incorporated into the ZYTO scanning algorithm, which accurately determines your priority score for each biomarker, product, and service scanned.

Link uses transdermal optical imaging to analyze blood-flow changes in the face. Research shows that heart rate and heart rate variability can be accurately measured by analyzing these changes.

Link uses transdermal optical imaging (TOI) to measure heart rate, which is strongly correlated with respiratory rate. Link also uses TOI to measure heart rate variability, which can be used to derive the underlying breathing rate as well.

The Link app measures heart rate variability (HRV), which is a reliable indicator of stress level. The stress index was established by comparing a large sample size of traditional heart rate measurements to TOI signal results. These values were then converted into a stress index with 5 levels.

To learn more, read this study on Basal Stress via Heart Rate Variability analysis.

Link analyzes the surface of the face to determine skin age using an artificial intelligence (AI) prediction model. Skin age is impacted by genetics and lifestyle factors.

The unique, real-time measurements from the Link facial scan are incorporated into the ZYTO scanning algorithm. The algorithm establishes the body’s baseline, which you might think of as the body’s “normal” or “resting” state. This algorithm then determines how far each biomarker varies from the baseline response. Biomarkers with a higher score than the baseline are considered “out-of-range,” while those that have a lower score than the baseline are considered “in range.”

Link measures the body’s energetic response to each product and service. These measurements are based on the body’s responses gathered from the facial scan, which are incorporated into the ZYTO scanning algorithm. Top products and services are listed in the report based on their ability to bring out-of-range biomarkers back into range.

ZYTO Link responses will likely differ from scan to scan since your body is constantly changing. Obtaining duplicate responses is only possible when measuring structural or physical aspects that change very slowly over time, such as weight and height.

While responses differ, you will likely be able to observe patterns and trends from scan to scan.

Privacy and confidentiality

No. ZYTO Link uses transdermal optical imaging (TOI) to measure and analyze blood flow below the surface of the face. Only the data from these measurements is analyzed, not the actual video or image.

No. You can rest easy knowing that ZYTO Link does not transmit or store images or videos of your face. It measures blood flow below the surface of the face only. This raw data is then analyzed by an AI algorithm to calculate your results.

During the purchasing process, ZYTO collects your contact and billing information. We also collect and store the personal profile information you enter into the Link app such as birth date and gender. Measurements gathered from the blood-flow analysis are used with the ZYTO scanning algorithm to individualize your results. This information is stored within the app.

We only use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us to develop new features, provide information about our products and services, provide you with notices about your account, and for billing and collection purposes. In the Link app, biomarkers are digital representations of actual components of the body, such as organs, glands, and systems.
In addition, biomarkers also include lifestyle and environmental factors that impact the body, such as sleep, emotions, and toxins.

After incorporating your measurements from the face scan, the ZYTO algorithm establishes your baseline score, which you might think of as your “normal” or “resting” score. Biomarkers are then compared with this baseline.

Biomarkers with a higher score than your baseline are considered “out of range,” while those that have a lower score than your baseline are considered “in range.”

In other words, Out-of-Range Biomarkers are those that the body responded to in a less-than-ideal way and require some support to bring back into range.

The number next to each biomarker is a priority score. Out-of-range biomarkers with higher scores should be prioritized first.

The Link scan establishes a biomarker baseline, which is the body’s “normal” or “resting” score. This baseline is displayed graphically next to each biomarker. Biomarkers with a higher score than the baseline are considered “out-of-range,” while those that have a lower score than the baseline are considered “in range.”

Out-of-range biomarkers are those that require additional support to bring back into range. This support is provided by the products and services that the body responded to most favorably.

Generally, you’ll want to select products starting from the top until all the biomarkers are brought into range. (This is shown at the top of the Products Report.) You may also want to add other products from the Systems Report that don’t show up on this list. Services from the Services Report may also be added for additional support or as a replacement for one or more products.

Business plan subscribers can watch training videos on navigating the app and understanding the reports on the Link Training page.

Similarly, clients can get more information on running a scan and understanding the reports on the Client Support page.
